Communication and visits

The sheriff directs families to CTEL for inmate communication and visitation. Use the sheriff's page for the current link. If the service will not open, contact the jail to confirm how to arrange access. The pages checked do not establish a current visitation timetable or per-call price.

Commissary deposits

The sheriff identifies a jail lobby kiosk that accepts cash, credit and debit cards, plus a JailATM link for online inmate-account deposits. A deposit into an inmate’s commissary account does not itself post a bail bond; follow the bonding window’s instructions for a bail payment.

Mail and care packages

For ordinary letters, use the sheriff’s JailATM mailing address and include the inmate’s name and number.

JailATM.com – Forsyth County Jail
Inmate name / inmate number
925-B Peachtree St, NE – Box 2062
Atlanta, GA 30309

Attorney legal mail goes to the jail, must come from the attorney of record, and must be marked “Private Legal Mail” with the inmate’s name and cell location. Keep personal correspondence separate from legal or business mail.

Care packages must be ordered through JailATM; other outside commissary packages are not accepted. An inmate may receive one care package per week. Confirm the current dollar limit before ordering.

Check the sheriff’s current mail and care package instructions before sending or ordering.
