- Record the court, case number, date, time and location.
- Keep the bail bond receipt, company agreement and any collateral receipt.
- Read all contact, travel, reporting and other conditions in the actual orders.
- Contact counsel and the court promptly if a date or condition is unclear.

If the date changes or you cannot attend
Confirm any change through the court or counsel. A request to reschedule does not itself change the date. Cumming lists DUI among the cases requiring a court appearance.

When the case is resolved
Keep proof of disposition. Ask the Clerk about a cash bail bond disbursement, the Bond Administrator about a direct property bail bond lien, or the company about collateral under its agreement. These are different processes.

How long do bail bond conditions last?
There is no single number of days for every bail bond condition. Forsyth Pre-Trial Services describes supervision while the case is being decided. Your actual release order and any later court order control your conditions. Confirm with the court whether they have changed or ended before treating them as expired. Company fees and collateral follow separate rules.

Can I travel out of state while on a bail bond?
Check the court’s travel conditions and the company agreement before leaving Georgia. If the court’s order requires permission, obtain court approval before traveling. A bail bond company cannot waive a court restriction. Confirm any reporting arrangements with your assigned Pre-Trial Services contact.
